Applicant recruiting & screening
With a large pool of job candidates readily available, employers have access to people of different ages, skills and experiences! Testing and assessment of applicants' skills and aptitudes are analyzed.
On the job training incentives
When hiring certain qualified candidates through the Career Services Center, you may be reimbursed up to 50% of each new employee’s wages during the time he or she is learning the job. Depending on the complexity of the job and the qualifications of the trainee, this period may last from three to sixteen weeks.
Tax credits
Tax credits of up to $9,000 per individual hired are available to employers who hire certain qualified candidates. We can advise you of who qualifies for the tax credits thus simplifying the process.
Testing & interviewing facilities
Comfortable conference, presentation, interview, orientation and meeting space is available for employer events.
Employer Advisory Councils
Provides employers with opportunities to stay current with changes in employment law and other business-related issues through seminars and workshops sponsored by Career Services Center and Employment Development Department.
